Let’s get this straight: Not believing in a “God” does not mean that one worships the devil!
That was often the first thing that people would think whenever someone proclaimed themselves to be an atheist. However, more and more, the world is starting to really think about reality and wonder if there really is some guy in the sky who tells us to do good, or else! That sounds pretty harsh, I know, but that is truly what many people believe. Various religions have their own ideas of “God”. But, can anyone prove anything? Yet – how can the masses be wrong?
I honestly wonder if more people believe just out of a fear of not believing. What will become of them? What’s going to happen if they admit that some things are just not possible, and could not have happened? Will they be struck by lightning? Will they have a horrible accident?
First of all, we are all going to die. Some people are going to have more horrific and painful deaths than others. It’s very sad, but that’s a fact. No belief in God is ever going to change the outcome. No matter what you eat, no matter how you live, you’re going. And when you’re gone, you’re gone. OK – so, there may have actually been a “Jesus”. He was a person. He could have beem real. But, come on…! Do you really think that his parents did not have sex? Do you know how people were treated back in the day for doing the unthinkable – having sex before they were married? They were young. They were scared. The poor guy was brought up to believe that his father was this “God” person, and somehow, everyone else bought it, too!
If this “God” were suddenly to come down to Earth and say, “Hey, I’m here!”, would anyone believe him? It’s actually been done before. People have been locked up in insane asylums for doing it.
These thoughts are real and should be considered. These ideas and theories do not in any way suggest that just because someone does not believe in a “God” that they believe in a “Devil”. Rather, more people who believe in “God” believe in “The Devil”.
Looking at the way things are going in the world today, it would seem that more evil than good is being done to prove whose “God” is better. You have to wonder about their “Gods”. The more we are being forced to believe a certain way, they more we are wondering who the “Devil Worshipers” actually are.
Don’t get me wrong – it’s not bad to believe in “Something”. As a matter of fact, if a belief makes people do good, then it’s probably best for them to continue believing it. Prayer sends positivity out into the world, so if you are someone who prays, by all means, keep on doing so.
It’s nice to know that many people are waking up and actually thinking about facts and wanting proof. Science still has a long way to go, but the facts are that it is easier to disprove “God” than it is to prove “Him/Her”.
