Atheists Are Not Devil Worshipers

Standard

Let’s get this straight: Not believing in a “God” does not mean that one worships the devil!

That was often the first thing that people would think whenever someone proclaimed themselves to be an atheist. However, more and more, the world is starting to really think about reality and wonder if there really is some guy in the sky who tells us to do good, or else! That sounds pretty harsh, I know, but that is truly what many people believe. Various religions have their own ideas of “God”. But, can anyone prove anything? Yet – how can the masses be wrong?

14095976_10209864820324757_4819318819279458748_nI honestly wonder if more people believe just out of a fear of not believing. What will become of them? What’s going to happen if they admit that some things are just not possible, and could not have happened? Will they be struck by lightning? Will they have a horrible accident?

First of all, we are all going to die. Some people are going to have more horrific and painful deaths than others. It’s very sad, but that’s a fact. No belief in God is ever going to change the outcome. No matter what you eat, no matter how you live, you’re going.  And when you’re gone, you’re gone.  OK – so, there may have actually been a “Jesus”. He was a person. He could have beem real. But, come on…! Do you really think that his parents did not have sex? Do you know how people were treated back in the day for doing the unthinkable – having sex before they were married? They were young. They were scared. The poor guy was brought up to believe that his father was this “God” person, and somehow, everyone else bought it, too!

If this “God” were suddenly to come down to Earth and say, “Hey, I’m here!”, would anyone believe him? It’s actually been done before. People have been locked up in insane asylums for doing it.

These thoughts are real and should be considered. These ideas and theories do not in any way suggest that just because someone does not believe in a “God” that they believe in a “Devil”. Rather, more people who believe in “God” believe in “The Devil”.

Looking at the way things are going in the world today, it would seem that more evil than good is being done to prove whose “God” is better. You have to wonder about their “Gods”. The more we are being forced to believe a certain way, they more we are wondering who the “Devil Worshipers” actually are.

Don’t get me wrong – it’s not bad to believe in “Something”. As a matter of fact, if a belief makes people do good, then it’s probably best for them to continue believing it. Prayer sends positivity out into the world, so if you are someone who prays, by all means, keep on doing so.

It’s nice to know that many people are waking up and actually thinking about facts and wanting proof. Science still has a long way to go, but the facts are that it is easier to disprove “God” than it is to prove “Him/Her”.

Millions Of People Out There, and You’re Fixated On One? Why???

Standard

With so many millions of people in the world, why is breaking up so hard to do?  I am just people-1432658as guilty as anyone else when it comes to this, so not pointing anyone out. You can usually tell by a person’s social media status when they are going through a similar phase in their life. Many of our ‘friends’ are not all that sympathetic, however. You have the ‘eye-rollers’ who will discuss your situation with other so-called ‘friends’ with such comments as, “Why is she putting all of that out there? Who cares?” The problem is, you really believe that these are your friends and that they do care about you. And there will be a few who really do. At any rate, we are hurting and we want comfort.

But, back to the question at hand: Why??? These thoughts were brought on by reading a friend’s status that stated they were hurting a year later, and all I could think was, “Why???” Obviously, he has moved on with his life – why can’t you get on with yours? He was just one fish in this huge sea.

It’s because we’ve shared things with this person that we wouldn’t share with others. They know things about us that no one else will ever know, and they didn’t even appreciate the fact that we’ve bared our souls to them in a way we have not done with any other person. We know intimate details about them and accepted them, and now a new person will have to discover these on their own. Once you’ve gotten that close to a person, it is hard to start the process all over again.

It all changes us for the next person we allow into our lives. We become different; we turn hard and cold. We don’t like ourselves that way, and we hate ourselves for it. It takes time to open up to someone new. Then, when we do, we don’t trust like we used to. It’s not the new person’s fault, but it’s just the way it is. Therefore, we are more likely to go back to the person who hurt us. We are likely to do this over and over again, because this person knows us so well. They know how we tick. They know how to take advantage of us, yet we keep coming back for more. Or we can’t just let it go.

That’s why.

Why Can’t We Just Be Human?

Standard

It’s amazing how the world gives us everything we need. Vitamins in fruit, plants that heal, air to breathe, etc. We just have to figure out how to utilize it. Yet, our culture is so busy looking for ways to stop life from happening, that we are holding ourselves back without even realizing it.

Think about it: Why is it so easy for animals to figure out what they need? How do they understand the ‘laws’ of their world and automatically know how to find food, reproduce and how to care for their young?

12068927_10207354469007543_8723815248432365032_oBirds, for example, have very small brains. Yet they ‘know’ things. They know where to live and build nests. They know how to regurgitate food and feed their young. They recognize people.

Think about ants. Look at their colonies. Look how they are able to carry so much food away. How do they all come up with the whole ‘queen’ thing and understand how it works?

These are just examples of nature. So, why can’t humans be natural?

First of all – humans have to be PC (politically correct). Everything is offensive, so you have to watch what you say or do.

Also – watch your back. If you do something you shouldn’t be doing and it offended no one – even something as minor as smoking a joint – someone will have to report you because they have nothing better to do and they saw you commit a crime. By the way – marijuana is a plant which makes ill people feel better. Yet, humans have to come up with laws about it. It’s a freakin’ plant!!

Yes, there are crimes committed. Yes, there are robberies and murders. This sounds harsh, but why not let the parties affected handle the perpetrator? I am quite sure that the family of a young child who has been raped will justly deal with the offender. Isn’t that a harsher sentence than one where the taxpayer pays for a jail cell and meals for this waste of space? Isn’t it more justified? Maybe that would be a better answer to stopping this type of behavior.

Shouldn’t people be allowed to love who they want, whether that person is of the same sex or not? If another person thinks that they need two wives or two husbands, and everyone involved is okay with it, then why should it be of any concern to anyone else?

If someone says things that you don’t like, don’t listen to them. They are entitled to their opinions. If someone believes in a different God than yours, or in no God at all, let them! It’s their choice. If it makes them a better person for believing in a power greater than themselves, or for not believing in it, isn’t that a good thing? If you have to resort to violence to prove that your God or belief is better, are you being ‘Godly’? And what does that say about your religion or lack thereof?

Bottom line – why can’t humans live by the laws of nature, without creating laws of human ignorance?

How are ‘natural’ things even up for debate?

Standard

Things that are natural shouldn’t even be up for debate. Same sex, smoking weed… If you don’t like it, don’t do it. That should be the only thing you should think about it.

If same sex people love each other and want to marry – why the hell not?? Who cares? Except for them , no one should care either way. People who love them should be happy for them. You don’t know how their marriage will turn out any more than you know how a marriage between a man and a woman will end up. What’s it to you? What do you care? How does it harm you in any way?

Cannabis – it’s a plant that grows. How can it be illegal? Who’s up for arrest? Mother Nature? It’s a plant and it makes people feel good. It makes people who are ill forget their pain. It makes people who are stressed forget about their problems. If you don’t like it, don’t smoke it. (Even though you are probably someone who might benefit from it.)

Some things just happen naturally or grow naturally, whatever the case may be. Why do people feel like if something is not for them, they have to be so dead set against it that they have to come up with laws about it? It’s nature, people! Leave it alone. Live and let live. Every person on this earth has something that they enjoy or do that is unique to them. Who are we to judge?

Standard

Don’t you just hate it when you are the center of attention and all of a sudden some b**** just waltzes in and steals your show??

I mean, come on… You may not be the prettiest person there, but at that point in time they had nothing better to do, and you were interesting and pretty enough to have everyone’s attention and focus, then in walks this chick and BOOM, no one even remembers what the hell you were talking about.

It’s like, “Hey, everyone!! I’m still here!!”

How To Make the Most Of Your Time When You Don’t Have Any

Standard

With people having to work two and three jobs just to make ends meet, you have to wonder how you are supposed to have time to do anything else at all. Having small children also takes up a lot of your time and leaves you wondering how you will get things done.

190374_1884771646600_2346578_nWhether it means not having time to clean your house, do your laundry, working on your hobbies or exercising, you have to figure out how to plan the time into your day. Writing out a schedule and a separate to-do list is a step in the right direction. Penciling in specific times to do things from your t0-do list will allow you time to devote to your project, even if it is only a half hour a day. Otherwise, trying to find time or waiting for a free moment can be near impossible.

When it comes to cleaning your house, clean one room a day. For instance, thoroughly clean the living room one day. The next day, first do a quick straightening up of the living room and then move on to the kitchen, and so forth. Plan 20 minutes a day to workout to an online yoga video. Give yourself half an hour to an hour to meet with a friend for a cup of coffee.

These things are important to your well-being and leaves you with a feeling of accomplishing something, rather than nothing at all. After all, life is for living, so be sure to make the most of it.

Eating Meat Is Natural

Standard

Yes, eating meat is natural. I am not saying it is a good thing or especially healthy, but it is natural.

Humans have enough sense to try to figure out what is good or bad for them. We can choose to follow advice on what to eat, whether it be for health or ethical reasons.

Our decision to eat meat as human beings did not stem from a weird perversion to kill animals. It happened mainly as a result of hunger. Hunger and observing what animals themselves do when they are hungry. They kill. They kill other animals and they kill each other. And it’s natural. It’s a way of survival. And there is nothing perverted about it.

10177884_10203318340586855_461634858936314487_n

We humans kill, and it isn’t pretty. Yes, the least amount of torture provided to the animal and to provide them with the best lives beforehand is optimal. But eating meat has been going on since the beginning of time, and it’s not about to stop anytime soon. No amount of protest or eye-opening media is going to end it. And it’s natural. So, get over it.

That is all.

Do One Thing, and Do It Well.

Standard

I am sure that there are lots of people like myself who have lots of talents and lots of interests. Life is short, after all, and we want to cram in as much fun stuff as we can!

Maybe you are interested in learning new skills for a possible job, playing a musical instruments, or producing an item to sell. Where do you find the time to do all of the things you want to?

Well, you could allocate a few hours a day and alternate tackling things you want to learn. A better plan, though, would be to take on one new thing at a time and focus on it. If you don’t, you may forgot what you’ve learned  on a project by the time you get back to it. Plus, focusing on one thing and keeping your mind on only this will help you to learn it faster and master it. Then, and only then, should you move on to the next thing.

Keep a running list of all of the things you wish to accomplish in this lifetime. Then, take your time and do all of them!

Racism Is Natural

Standard

If you say or do anything regarding a person of a different color or religion of your own, you are immediately labeled a racist. But, guess what? Everyone is a racist. It’s natural! OK, so racism sucks, but it’s still natural.

Consider this: Have you ever observed how animals interact? Take chickens, for example. If you have brown, black and white chickens, observe how they pair up and stick together. You will notice that the old saying is true – birds of a feather flock together. You will see that they stick to other chickens of the same color. No idea why that is, but it’s just the way it is. It’s nature.

12002206_10207262073377710_7295554950474853698_n

We are told not to stereotype. Stereotyping is seen as a bad thing. However, think about it – people may do what they do because they are brought up differently, with different cultures and lifestyles. What may be perfectly acceptable in one country is not necessarily acceptable in another. For instance, nudity is not seen as a bad thing in many European countries. Yet, if a German were to walk around in his underwear in the US, he may be arrested for indecent exposure and possibly have to register as a sex offender, to boot.

So why is it a bad thing to say anything about another race or culture, when it is clear that people are brought up differently and with various beliefs? How do we decipher what is right or wrong to say? Who says that by having racist thoughts we can’t still live in harmony? Maybe we just need to understand each other and where we come from better. Either way, politically correctness has made it to where we have to ignore the truth.

Crazy For “That” Feeling

Standard

Has anyone else ever wondered why people go so crazy over ‘that’ feeling? Okay, I’ll be blunt: an orgasm.

It’s a feeling we can give to ourselves, for cryin’ out loud! So why are so many crimes committed, just to have someone else give you one? Why are marriages destroyed over someone going to someone else to give them ‘that’ feeling, when they can get it at home, either by themselves or with their partners?

What is it about an orgasm that drives people insane? Some brood thoughts about it in their minds that make them go out and rape, sometimes murder, for it. You have to wonder why they don’t think of the outcome, or why it doesn’t matter to them.

A scorned mate can be so hurt over it that they do insane things that they wouldn’t normally do. Yet, the partners who commit these acts don’t see it as a crime. They often see it as ‘casual’ sex, until it develops into something more. They don’t even take into consideration the pain that they might potentially cause. Not to mention the fighting and destruction of a relationship. Is it really worth it? Yet, in the heat of the moment and the desire to have ‘that’ feeling of release, nothing else matters.

Is it any wonder that sex sells? It’s on everyone’s minds, whether positively or negatively.167538_1776862908949_6125843_n
